A zatem nie ma już „teraz”, ponieważ przeszłość pochłonęła teraźniejszość, zamieniła ją w ciąg obsesyjnych powtórzeń, a to, co wydawało się nowe – co wydaje dziać się teraz – jest jedynie odgrywaniem jakiegoś ponadczasowego schematu.

Fotografia jako reportaż przemijania; miejsca w miejscu. Autorka staje się obserwatorką zmiany, podwojenia znaczeniowości – dokumentowane przestrzenie wciąż mocno osadzone w przeszłości nieubłaganie ciągną do przyszłości, zawieszone w międzyczasie. Miejsca uwiecznione na fotografiach zdają się opuszczonymi pustostanami, porzuconymi i zapomnianymi obszarami. Tak naprawdę są to nowo powstające osiedla, codziennie mijane szczątki wchłaniane przez otoczenie, otulone przez naturę „cmentarze” w centrum miasta.

[EN] SO THERE IS NO NOW

So there is no „now” anymore because the past has absorbed the present, turned it into a series of obsessive repetitions, and what seemed new – what seems to be happening now – is merely the enactment of some timeless pattern.

Photography as a reportage of transience; places in place. The author becomes an observer of change, a doubling of meaning – the documented spaces, still firmly rooted in the past, pull inexorably towards the future, suspended in the meantime. The places immortalized in the photographs seem to be abandoned, empty buildings, abandoned and forgotten areas. In fact, these are newly built housing estates, everyday debris absorbed by the surroundings, „cemeteries” surrounded by nature in the city center.
